### Installation details
When Home Assistant discovers a new SMA device, or when you manually add one, the following form is presented:
- **Host**: the hostname or IP address (if discovered via DHCP, this field will not be displayed as it's known via discovery)
- Use SSL certificate
- Verify SSL certificate
- **Group**: choose either **user** or **installer** (default: **user**). Ask your installer if you’re unsure which to use
- **Password**: use your password or ask your installer the default password that has been set up
